AKILTA / SHOPIFY

We build, improve and operationalize Shopify around what the business actually needs.

New storefront, an existing-store improvement, theme and storefront development, migration, integration or ongoing technical operations: we start with the problem and the current system, then choose the right intervention.

Not just a theme task: a connected system from storefront through operations.

01 / PROBLEM

The problem is often not Shopify. It is how the system has been put together.

01

The storefront grows; the structure drifts.

Theme layers, apps, content and conversion paths can become tightly coupled over time. Changes made without understanding their impact create new problems.

02

Integrations shape the invisible side of the operation.

Payments, shipping, ERP, marketing, feeds, automation and custom API flows can matter as much as the storefront. We do not reduce the assessment to visual design.

03

Performance and SEO are not boxes to bolt on later.

Theme architecture, content structure, apps, localization and rendering behavior jointly affect technical quality. We validate what can be measured; we do not promise outcomes we cannot guarantee.

02 / CAPABILITIES

Controlled Shopify work from storefront through technical operations.

Replatforming, rebuilding or rewriting everything is not the default. We work from the smallest correct intervention through to deeper restructuring when the evidence calls for it.

01

Storefront & theme development

Theme architecture, sections and blocks, responsive behavior, content presentation, product and collection surfaces, cart and critical storefront flows.

02

Commerce architecture & migration

Existing-store assessment, information and catalog structure, platform fit, migration scope, risks and controlled transition planning.

03

Integration & automation

Shopify apps, APIs, operational tools, feeds and—when appropriate—custom integration or automation workflows.

04

Performance, technical SEO & CRO foundations

Rendering and asset behavior, technical metadata, localization, accessibility, critical user flows and measurable storefront quality signals.

05

Release, care & continuous improvement

Unpublished-theme work, bounded change scope, QA, controlled release, maintenance and iteration against a real backlog.

03 / FIT

If Shopify is the right tool, we use it well. If it is not, we say so.

Good fit

  • You have a clear business problem in a new or existing Shopify store
  • You want controlled improvement across theme, integration, migration or operations
  • You are open to understanding the current state and validating critical flows first
  • You need the right boundary between Shopify and custom software or integrations

Assessment first

  • It is unclear whether replatforming is actually necessary
  • The issue could be in storefront, apps, data, operations or integrations and the source is unclear
  • Scope, access or technical dependencies are not yet visible
  • You require guaranteed sales, traffic or SEO outcomes—we do not make those guarantees

04 / STARTING ROUTE

Two controlled starting routes, depending on scope.

The right route and fee are defined at proposal stage after the current store state, intended change, access and technical dependencies are understood.

ROUTE 01ASSESSMENT

Shopify Audit & Priority Plan

We assess the current Shopify setup across technical structure, storefront/UX, critical commerce flows, localization, integrations and verifiable quality signals, then prioritize issues by impact and dependency.

  • Current-state and risk map
  • Prioritized action plan
  • Recommended next delivery route

ROUTE 02BOUNDED DELIVERY

Shopify Improvement Sprint

When the problem and intended outcome are clear enough, we implement and validate a bounded improvement backlog across theme, UX, conversion paths, performance or technical quality.

  • Defined change boundary
  • Unpublished-theme work and QA
  • Controlled release / handoff

05 / DELIVERY MODEL

Understand first. Change second. Validate before release.

  1. 01Understand

Clarify business goal, current system and critical constraints.

  2. 02Inspect

Inspect theme, commerce flow, app and integration dependencies.

  3. 03Prioritize

Choose the highest-value, safest intervention order.

  4. 04Build / Improve

Implement changes inside a bounded, isolated work surface.

  5. 05Validate

Test critical flows, responsive behavior and relevant technical quality.

  6. 06Operate / Handoff

Clarify controlled release, documentation and the next backlog.

06 / VALIDATION

We do not call Shopify work complete because it merely “looks right.”

Validation depth varies by task, but critical flows, responsive behavior, localization, integration impact and controlled-release thinking are part of delivery.

01Critical storefront flows
02Mobile / responsive behavior
03TR / EN localization surfaces
04Theme isolation and change boundary
05Integration / app impact
06Pre-release readback / QA

07 / FAQ

Before starting a Shopify project.

Can you improve an existing Shopify store?

Yes. We first assess the current theme, app/integration dependencies and problem area. Not every project needs a rebuild; a controlled improvement can be the better route.

Do you handle migrations to Shopify?

For suitable projects, yes. We first assess catalog, content, integrations, operational needs and whether Shopify is actually the right platform; migration scope follows from that assessment.

Do you only work with Shopify?

No. Akilta works across web, commerce, custom software, SaaS, AI, automation and technology operations. We use Shopify where it fits the problem; the platform is not our whole identity.

Can you improve a store without replacing the whole theme?

Often, yes. The decision depends on the current theme architecture, technical debt, intended change and dependencies. We do not begin with an assumption that everything must be rebuilt.

Do you provide ongoing technical support after launch?

For suitable projects, we can continue with maintenance, monitoring, controlled change and ongoing improvement. Scope depends on the store’s needs and ownership model.

08 / START

Tell us what needs to change in your store.

If the scope is clear, we can move toward the right delivery route. If it is complex, we start with discovery or an audit.
